Data Protection Declaration

The protection of your data is important to us! With this declaration we would therefore like to inform you about the data protection in our company. We only collect, store and use your personal data pursuant to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz (DSG). By means of this declaration, we would also like to inform you about which types of data we are processing for which purposes, and what rights you are entitled to:

1. Data collection and processing during internet access

When you visit our webside, our web server temporariliy sores every access in a log file. The following data are collected and stored until deleted automatically:

  • IP-address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • name and URL of the retrieved data
  • transmitted amount of data
  • message if the retrieval was successful
  • detection data of the browser and operating system used
  • website from which access is initiated
  • name of your internet acess provider

The processing of these data is, to enable the use of the webside (connection establishement), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and to optimize the internet services. In case of attacks on the network infrastructure of LASSELSBERGER GmbH we evaluate the IP-addresses.
Regarding the preceding cases mentioned, no personal data will be processed unless you, the user, expressly authorize further processing. Profiles with pseudonyms can be used.

2. Orders

When you order information material or other goods, we will use your specified address data exclusively to process the order.

3. Use of your personal data

We use your personal data to process your order with us. No disclosure or transfer to third parties will be made. 4.1 Newsletter und press mailing list

In order to register for a newsletter service of LASSELSBERGER GmbH, we need at least your e-mail address to which the newsletter is to be sent. Further information is voluntary and will only be used on the basis of your consent, for example, in order to address you personally and to be able to clarify any queries regarding the e-mail address. For postal delivery, we need your address data. In the case of press distributors, information about the press organization that you are working for is necessary so that we know that a press organ is actually being supplied.
In general, we use the double opt-in procedure for registration. This means that we will not send any newsletters to you until you have confirmed your registration via an e-mail sent by us and a link contained therein. The login and confirmation will be logged. This is to ensure that only you can register yourself as a user of the specified e-mail address in the newsletter service. Your confirmation must be sent promptly to us, otherwise your registration and e-mail address in our database will be deleted. Until confirmed by you, our newsletter service does not accept further registrations with this e-mail address.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. You can either send us an e-mail or cancel it with a link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Guestbooks and forums

In order to register for an internet forum of LASSELSBERGER GmbH, we need at least a user ID, a password and your e-mail address. For your protection, registration for such a service can only take place if you confirm your registration via an e-mail sent by us and the link contained therein and if you consent to the use of other personal data, if necessary for the use of the forum.
You can cancel these services at any time by sending us an e-mail via the corresponding webside of the service.
Guest books and forums are not subject to content control by LASSELSBERGER GmbH. Nevertheless, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to delete entries and exclude users from further use, in particular if entries fulfill criminally relevant facts or are incompatible with the objectives of LASSELSBERGER GmbH.

5. Cookies

This website partially uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, and stored by your browser. By setting cookies, our web server can recognize your browser, your individual settings on our web pages and, if necessary, parts of the registration data in encrypted form, thus facilitating the use of our pages and enabling the automatic log-in.

6. Web analytics

No personal user profiles are created. However, the Telecommunications Act (TKG) allows the use of user profiles under a pseudonym for purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based design of offers, unless the user objects to.
We also use Web analytics services provided by WiredMinds on our websites, which perform the web analysis for us as a processor. The services have been checked by supervisory authorities or experts and fulfill all requirements of Austrian and European data protection law.
The technologies of the providers on our websides collect and store data. These data are used to create user profiles under pseudonyms for marketing and optimization purposes. For this purpose, cookies can be used. Cookies are small text files stored locally in the cache oft he site visitor`s internet-browser. Cookies enable recognition of the Internet browser. Furthermore, your usage behavior can be measured using a JavaScript code and the data collected can be transmitted via an HTML connection directly to the provider’s server.
Without your explicit consent, the data collected by the tracking technologies will not be used to personally identify you. The collected data will also not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. A cross-site analysis is also not done.
If you want to prevent the tracking technically, you can disable JavaScript and Cookies in your web browser. Incidentally, you can also object to data collection and storage at any time with effect for the future.

7. Social PlugIns

Some of our websites also use social plugins, for example those of the social networks Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or Google+.
